Dr. Riaz Hussain
Assistant Professor
HEC Approved Ph.D. Supervisor, Ph.D. Applied Chemistry (GCUF)
Dr. Riaz Hussain did his M.SC and M. Phil in Chemistry with specialization in Organic Chemistry from University of the Punjab, Lahore and Ph.D in Applied Chemistry from Government College University Faisalabad in 2017. In March 2005, he joined Department of Chemistry, University of Education, Lahore as a Lecturer in Chemistry. Later in August 2005, he transferred to University of Education, Lahore Okara Campus for the establishment of Department of Chemistry at Okara Campus. He is the person who started Department of Chemistry in 2005 at University of Education, Lahore Okara Campus (currently University of Okara). He taught various subjects like Applied Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Mathematics for Chemist, and Organic Spectroscopy at Graduate and Undergraduate Level. He has published 45 research articles in international impacted journals on computational chemistry and synthesis. His research interest includes Computational Chemistry & Synthesis (Cluster Chemistry, Solar Cell Chemistry, NLO studies, Nano Cages studies, and synthesis of Medicinal compounds).
