FACULTY PROFILE

Mr. Javed Ahmad is a Lecturer in Computer Sciences at the University of Okara. He received his M.Phil in Computer Science from the Institute of Management Sciences and a BSCS degree from the University of South Asia, Lahore. Before joining the University of Okara, Mr. Javed Ahmad worked in various government and private organizations, he served at the University of Punjab as a Lecturer in Computer Science, and as a Senior Network Administrator in UMT, Samaa TV, and Systems Limited " Software House" Lahore. Having 18+ year’s extensive experience in the field of Computer teaching, Data Analysis, System/Network Administration of Cisco, Linux, and Microsoft Systems including LAN & WAN technologies, Excellent expertise and experience to teach, Computer networks, Network Security, System Administration Web Survey & SPSS, and Computer Applications, Excellent knowledge to lead the technical and operation team for Linux, Windows, and Cisco-based environments. He was the focal person for Split Ph.D. Program in the University of the Punjab and Punjab Higher Education. He was degree coordinator, focal person prime minister's laptop scheme, and Incharge of IT infrastructure at ISCS, University of the Punjab, Lahore.
