Overview

Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) is responsible to ensuring the quality of teaching, learning, and research to meet the challenges at both national and global levels. Apart from the assurance of quality in the teaching and learning process, staff development, research and other scholarly activities is also fostered by QEC. The University of Okara (UO) has the following objectives for its Assurance policy under the guidance of the Higher Education Commission: 1. Development and implementation of internal and external quality assurance measures and practices 2. Development of a progressive and conducive learning environment 3. Production of graduates who can lead in the advancement of knowledge, contribute to national development, and thrive in a changing global landscape 4. Alignment of existing and new policies on research and innovation activities in teaching, learning, and outreach engagements with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 5. Management of intellectual property rights 6. Development of an inclusive culture of continuous quality improvement to achieve academic excellence and ethical values
