The Women Development Centre, University of Okara

An interactive event was organised by Women Development Department, Govt. of Punjab in collaboration with TEVTA and other stakeholders on 10 December, 2024 at Faletti's hotel, Lahore to discuss the "Women Empowerment and elimination of Gender Based Violence and Harrasment in work place. The participants held panel discussion on Women rights, creating opportunities for their participation in labor market to make them empowered. So that, they can play effective role in the society. Furthermore, it was emphasised to provide supportive environment for women working in different sectors of the country and to eliminate the gender based violence & harrasment. Dr. Sumera Tul Hasan participated as Director/Focal Person of Women Development Centre, University of Okara with Usman Ali Khan (Secretary, WDD) including other participants.
