MPhil Mathematics Test

Important Announcement for MPhil Mathematics Test in Department of Mathematics, University of Okara There is only one test for admission in M.Phil Mathematics held on Thursday I 7-08-2023 at 11:00 am in Academic Block III. The M. Phil Mathematics admission test (GAT type) will comprise of multiple choice questions (MCQ'S) with the following composition: i) Verbal (20%) ii) Analytical reasoning/numerical assessments (30%) iii) *Subject related (Mathematics) (50%) Students who already appeared in GAT general conducted by HEC/NTS or equivalent body will be exempted from University entry test and their score will be considered equivalent to the score of students earned from University entry test. The subject related questions will comprise of the following subjects: 1. Calculus 2. Ordinary Differential Equations 3. Complex Analysis 4. Topology 5. Group Theory 6. Linear Algebra 7. Numerical Analysis 8. Vectors 9. Real Analysis 10. Number Theory Bring your original CNIC and fee deposit receipt at the time of Test.
